Reset an operator-edited pack component to a pack-version default.
curl --request POST \ --url https://stratum.example.com/v1/observability/admin/platform-health/components/example/reset \ --header 'Authorization: Bearer <token>' \ --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \ --data '{ "packVersion": "1.4.0" }'Cedar action observability:AdminPlatformHealthReset.
. Overwrites the operator’s row body with the embedded
body at the requested pack version (or the manifest’s current
version when omitted), re-stamps the pack labels so the next
reconcile tick reports installed, and emits an audit event.
Atomic at the row level — body + LabelBodySHA + LabelPackVersion are updated in the same Upsert, so the operator-edit detection on the next tick is guaranteed to pass. Idempotent: re-resetting an already-installed component is a successful no-op write that still records an audit event.
404 PACK_VERSION_NOT_AVAILABLE means the requested
packVersion has no on-disk body — no embedded match, no
suffix row. 409 PACK_ROW_MISSING means the operator’s row
was deleted (or the install path never ran); reset can’t
materialise a row from nothing — wait for the next reconcile
tick or re-run the install path explicitly.
Authorizations
Section titled “Authorizations”Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”Path Parameters
Section titled “Path Parameters”. Stable pack-component handle (dash-…, alarm-…, loggroup-…). Constant across pack versions.
Request Body
Section titled “Request Body”. Body shape of POST /v1/observability/admin/platform-health/components/{componentId}/reset.
object
Pack version to reset to. Empty / omitted = current embedded version (the common case). A historical version requires the matching SUFFIX row to exist; otherwise the endpoint returns 404 PACK_VERSION_NOT_AVAILABLE.
Example
1.4.0Responses
Section titled “Responses”Reset result.
. Result shape of POST /v1/observability/admin/platform-health/components/{componentId}/reset.
object
Pack version the row now reports.
BodySha before the reset (the operator-edited content).
BodySha after the reset (the chosen pack version’s body).

The findings of a rejected IAM policy document (custom and resource policies).
One finding of a rejected IAM policy document. A rejection lists every finding, so the author fixes the document in one round trip.
object
The finding, e.g. INVALID_DOCUMENT, UNKNOWN_ACTION, ACTION_NOT_APPLICABLE.
Index of the statement at fault; -1 for the document as a whole.
The offending action, where one is at fault (ACTION_NOT_APPLICABLE).
Field errors, for codes that carry them: each problem at its field
(see FieldError). Documented on the responses that set it, e.g.
approveNodeJoin’s INVALID_INPUT and JOIN_APPROVAL_REFUSED.
Absent otherwise.
One field’s problem, the stage-2 installer API’s shape.
field is the field’s path, message what is wrong with it.
object
The field’s path, e.g. links[0].interface, disks[1].confirm,
mgmt.address or role; empty for the whole request.
Structured facts about the refusal, for codes that carry them. The
shape is fixed per code and documented on the response that answers
it, e.g. IMAGE_POOL_MISMATCH (see ImagePoolMismatchDetails) and
IMAGE_IN_USE. Absent for codes that carry none.
