A joining node reads the state of its own join.

POST
/v1/ha/nodes/{nodeId}/actions/join-status
Code sample: Shell / cURL
curl --request POST \
--url https://stratum.example.com/v1/ha/nodes/example/actions/join-status \
--header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--data '{ "token": "example" }'

(the join/generation step). Node-facing, authenticated by the join token the node redeemed (POST, so the token is not in the URL). The join is done when state is active and waitingFor is empty: every member applied the current membership generation.
