A joining node reports that its join failed.

POST
/v1/ha/nodes/{nodeId}/actions/join-failed
Code sample: Shell / cURL
curl --request POST \
--url https://stratum.example.com/v1/ha/nodes/example/actions/join-failed \
--header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--data '{ "token": "example", "step": "join/raft-openbao", "error": "example" }'

. Node-facing, authenticated by the join token the node redeemed (not a session), until the join channel of replaces it. Moves the node’s member row from joining to failed; the membership generation is bumped, so every member drops it from its peer lists, and the founder side takes it back out of every raft it reached. A node that already turned active is not moved.
