Terminal window
stratumctl dns resolver-inbound-endpoints [flags]

Aliases: resolver-inbound, rie

stratumctl dns resolver-inbound-endpoints create

Section titled “stratumctl dns resolver-inbound-endpoints create”

Create a resolver inbound endpoint (binds a floating IP to the VPC recursor)

Terminal window
stratumctl dns resolver-inbound-endpoints create [flags]
Terminal window
stratumctl dns resolver-inbound-endpoints create --project p-team-a --vpc vpc-9k2m4x7q --floating-ip fip-4k8m2x7q9a
stratumctl dns resolver-inbound-endpoints create --project p-team-a --vpc vpc-9k2m4x7q --floating-ip fip-4k8m2x7q9a \
--allowed-cidr 172.24.0.0/16 --subnet subnet-3k8m2x7q --security-group sg-3f8d2k9x
Flag Type Default Description
--allowed-cidr stringSlice Client network permitted to query through the endpoint, e.g. 172.24.0.0/16. Repeatable. Without it the endpoint answers only the VPC’s own clients — an off-cluster resolver’s queries are refused, and the refusal is lost on the return path so it looks like a timeout
--floating-ip string Allocated floating IP to bind (required)
--project string Project ID (defaults to STRATUM_PROJECT or profile project_id)
--security-group stringSlice Security group applied to the endpoint’s interfaces. Repeatable. Requires –subnet, and is mutually exclusive with –allowed-cidr
--subnet stringSlice Tenant subnet to place an interface in. Repeatable. Required for –security-group: a security group binds to a port, so the endpoint needs an interface of its own
--vpc string VPC whose recursor to expose (required)
